Key Accountability
- Drive sales force effectiveness. Key elements of this area are to drive higher share of customer spending, new customer acquisition, market penetration, covering white spaces in terms of products and customers.
- Design and implement the strategy and budget for the wholesale business in UAE. While developing sales budgets, it is imperative for the role holder to drive alignment with suppliers own plans for budgeting period.
- Ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profitability targets.
- Ensure sales team performance management, training and retention.
- Monitor sales and contribution by customer, product and region on a regular basis and devise strategies to address any variations between actual and budgeted targets.
- Monitor receivables from customers and devise credit control and sales strategies to ensure collection within working capital policies.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly and develop plans with marketing and finance to liquidate inventory, where necessary.
- Liaise with Sales Managers to determine appropriate product mix, in line with consumer needs and market demands, and produce accurate purchasing forecasts.
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for key accounts (suppliers, agencies, clinics, hospitals, etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college / university.
- Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Sales and Marketing from an accredited University is preferred.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience with demonstrable experience in sales, customer development and implementation of marketing campaigns, particularly in the healthcare sector.
